Does your consumption have an end? If not, do you question what or why you consume? Are you satisfied afterwards or do you constantly go from consuming one thing to consuming something else with an insatiable desire to consume more?
The opposite question of consuming is do you create? By create, I mean it in the most vague way such as creating a piece of music, a blog, a book, a game, or even a simple thank you card.
An even deeper question is why is creating so overlooked/undervalued?
Interestingly, the first attribute that God shows us in Genesis 1 is that he creates. The universe was formless and void until God started creating. Later in subsequent chapters that we find that God is just, virtuous, honorable, wise, loving, and long suffering.
Is your world formless and void? Try creating something…
