I am Geoff Boltach from Stevensville Michigan and currently I stay at home with my two young boys. Over the past two weeks I have switched from a regular toothbrush to power toothbrush – the Oral-B ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000 with SmartGuide.
The power toothbrush is extremely easy to use, it also has a red light sensor that informs you when you apply too much pressure on your teeth, a time clock that monitors how long you have brushed and gives you a smiley face when you hit two minutes, and has 5 variable brush modes or speeds.
I was most impressed with the technology of the smart guide monitor. The monitor shows four different quadrants or parts of your mouth in which to brush, displays what setting you have the brush set at, and this toothbrush actually improved my overall oral care habit. Another interesting piece of technology is the brush pauses every thirty seconds to let you know when to switch to the next section of your mouth.
My current state of oral hygiene is noticeably better and more improved. I mainly used the fastest setting which is the daily clean speed. With the new power tooth brush, I actually brush for two minutes instead of only about thirty seconds. In addition, my teeth feel cleaner because I actually let the brush get into the small cracks between my teeth. I still used my favorite baking soda toothpaste and quite honestly I am satisfied with the results after two weeks of using the Oral-B Professional Care power brush.
I need to let my viewers know that I did receive the Oral B ProfessionalCare 5000 power toothbrush to use and give honest feedback. Also, Oral-B is offering a $10 mail-in rebate on select power toothbrushes April 29 through June 16, 2012. Please visit OralB.com for more information
