After reading the “63 reasons to believe there was a conspiracy to assassinate JFK,” I now have a tremendous amount of respect for John Fitzgerald Kennedy. JFK stood up against his war-mongering cabinet, tried to close corporate tax loopholes, and cracked down on organized crime. Ventura states that there were various factors interested in killing Kennedy – The Mafia, disgruntled oil tycoons, LBJ, Cuban sympathizers, and those within the CIA and FBI.
One thing is certain, the Warren Commission is deeply flawed. The book is split into 4 sections: The Evidence, The Cover-Up, The Witnesses, and The Why, Who, and How. Ventura did a great job of letting the first two section speak for themselves, but the last two are not as strong (possibly conjecture). There were points in the book that Ventura got off on a tangent, but as a whole, this is a good starting point at getting the truth.
I hope someday the American Public finds the who perpetuated the assassination and we get closure on this horrendous crime.
